Engineering Spotlight: Flushing Rig

The Hydratron Flushing Rig is a crucial component of any care and maintenance system. Our revolutionary flushing rigs help avoid costly repair and replacement bills by flushing and filtering out contaminants that can build up in your hydraulic systems.

Suitable for both onshore, offshore and marine applications, the rigs are robust, compact and mobile, as well as feature an ergonomic control panel layout for ease of use.

  • Flush & filtrate hydraulic systems
  • Extend the lifetime of systems
  • Avoid costly repairs & downtime

Additionally, they come with an onboard, high-quality, electrically driven flushing pump specified to allow for turbulent flow through your application. This feature offers the best way to dislodge and flush out any contaminants in your system.

Not only, the pump can be specified for use with a range of water-based control fluids or hydraulic mineral oils.

3 Micron Filtration
Suction and return filters provide filtration down to 3 microns, offering very high industry standard cleanliness levels for your system. Furthermore, such filtration increases the longevity of the rig’s component parts themselves.

Inline Contamination Monitor (Optional)
Moreover, an Inline Contamination Monitor is an option which observe and record the cleanliness of your hydraulic system. A range of inbuilt settings allow to easily configure the device to your required industry standards.

Hydrostatic Test Outlet
Besides, hydrostatic tests carried out before or after flushing remove the need for breaking or making any connections.

Digital Flow Totaliser
Also, the rig’s onboard flow control valve, together with the digital totaliser display, help adjust the desired flowrate through system to the required level.

Air Blast Cooler
As well, to maintain an efficient flushing fluid temperature during the cleaning process, all rigs come with an onboard air blast cooler. All of these features coupled with Hydratron’s in-house service and inspection systems guarantee the utmost quality with any rigs that leave our facility.

High-Pressure Testing

As a subsequent option, an air operated hydrostatic test pump can be included, which adds the dual function of hydrostatic pressure testing to the rig.

In fact, converging to the same outlet as the flushing line, hydrostatic tests can be carried out before or after flushing without the need for breaking or making any connections. Don’t compromise on system cleanliness, contact our sales team now.
